In July 2008, Jeff Harrison received the Education and Training Advocacy Award from the Cecil County Chamber of Commerce in Elkton, Maryland. Jeff has served on the Chamber's Education & Development Committee for over two years, and currently serves as Co-Chair of the committee. The committee's purpose is to facilitate education and business development programs for new small businesses in Cecil County and the surrounding area.
The Cecil County Chamber of Commerce is one of the largest and most active Chambers in the state of Maryland, with over 600 member businesses. It is also one of the most active chambers in the state, with a prominent voice in the legislature in the state capitol of Annapolis.
